Free AI cutout tools you can use online

You do not need to install anything to cut an image out: these eight online tools remove the background after an upload, and all eight are recorded with a free tier. Every link goes to the tool's own site.

How to choose

• One or two images: start with the ones that let you try without an account (Koukoutu, Erase.bg) and check the free allowance is enough for this task.
• Product batches on white: pick the ones with batch cutout or product-photo templates (Pic Copilot, LiblibAI Cutout, Meitu Shangpai); export sizes follow each site's terms.
• ID photos and hair detail: look for a “portrait / hair” note on the site; for background colours, use the tools on the ID photo page.

Three steps that work for any of them

1. Upload: drag the image into the page or use the upload button (most take JPG/PNG; compress large files first).
2. Cut out: let it detect the subject; if hair, fur or glass edges are rough, use the eraser/restore brush.
3. Background / download: choose transparent or white, then check resolution and any watermark before exporting.
