**Tell Genie what you need from your iPhone. Soulacy runs the automation on
hardware you own.**
Soulacy Personal is a complete self-hosted agent system: one binary, agents as
readable YAML, a web workspace, schedules, chat channels, adaptive memory, and
support for local or cloud models. It runs on a laptop, home server, Raspberry
Pi, or small VPS.
From the iPhone app, ask Genie to research a topic, prepare a morning brief,
watch for a change, or turn a repeated request into a scheduled agent. Check
the result, inspect what Genie built, and pause or cancel it from the same
conversation. Your phone is the command center; your gateway remains the
runtime.
Genie is the native iPhone entry point to that gateway. WhatsApp, Telegram,
Slack, Discord, email, HTTP, and custom adapters are first class channels too.
An agent can receive a request, reply, or deliver scheduled work through any
configured channel, with the same permissions, memory, and run history.
**Every privileged action has an answer.** It either waits for a recorded
approval or follows explicit agent and gateway policy you can inspect. A
scheduled run cannot approve itself, and text fetched from a website or MCP
server cannot grant itself more authority.
Then it gets personal. Soulacy keeps a structured picture of how your days
actually go: your routine, the people who matter, what you owe and when, and
how you want to be helped. It learns by asking in the browser. Pair the iPhone
app and enable a sense when you want it to keep up with calendar, Focus,
location, or health signals. Every sense is off until you allow it.
**Honest about setup:** there is no hosted version to sign up for. You need a
machine you can run a server on and about ten minutes in a terminal. That is
also the reason nobody else holds your data.
Start with a useful, checkable task
- First successful run:
connect one model, summarize supplied notes, and test missing information.
- Connect your iPhone: pairing,
network checks, keyboard controls, permissions, and notification troubleshooting.
- Six worked use cases: notes, handbook Q&A,
a phone briefing, reviewed learning, Safe Undo, and a checked agent release.
- Find the failing step:
distinguish networking, login, model, tool, delivery, and uncertain-write problems.
Guides track main; an installed gateway or iOS build may lag the source.
Safe Undo requires compatible configured resources, learning requires review,
and verification means the configured checks passed, not that every fact is true.

**Build it. Run it. Fix and learn.**
- **Build it**: describe the automation in plain English in Studio, or start from
a vetted template. Soulacy drafts the plan, generates the workflow, and checks
it end-to-end before you save.
- **Run it**: deploy the agent to Soulacy Mobile, Telegram, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, HTTP, or a
schedule. These are first class gateway channels, so agents can receive
requests and return work where you already communicate. One binary, no cloud required.
- **Fix and learn**: when a run fails, Debug in Studio explains it in plain
English and proposes a fix you can preview. Successful repairs become
regression tests, and Soulacy shows you what it's learned over time.
Genie puts your automation in your pocket
The native iPhone app is where you talk to Genie, run agents, follow their
progress, receive their work, and make decisions when you are away from your
desk. It is also the only device that knows where you are, what is on your
