🧩 viz-pack - Turn content into clear visuals

✨ What viz-pack does
viz-pack helps you turn plain content into visuals you can share. It includes four Claude skills for making:
- diagrams
- infographics
- interactive explainers
- shareable dashboards
You type a simple command, and viz-pack guides the rest. It works well for notes, reports, plans, and other text you want to make easier to read.
💻 What you need
- A Windows PC
- A web browser
- Internet access to download the app
- Enough space for the download and files it creates
- Claude access, if your setup uses Claude skills directly
For best results, use a recent version of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
📥 Download viz-pack
Go to the viz-pack Releases page and download the latest version for Windows.
After the file finishes downloading, open it from your Downloads folder or from the browser download bar.
🪟 Install on Windows
1. Open the file you downloaded.
2. If Windows shows a security prompt, choose the option to run or open the file.
3. Follow the on-screen steps.
4. Wait for the setup to finish.
5. If the app adds a shortcut, you can open it from your desktop or Start menu.
If the download comes as a .zip file, right-click it and choose Extract All before you start.
🚀 First-time setup
After you install viz-pack, open it and check that it starts without errors.
If the app asks for a working folder, pick a place that is easy to find, such as:
- Desktop
- Documents
- Downloads
If it asks for Claude access or an API key, paste the value you use for your Claude setup. Keep it private.
🧭 How to use viz-pack
viz-pack is built for simple content-to-visual work.
1. Open the app.
2. Choose the type of visual you want.
3. Paste or type your content.
4. Pick the output style.
5. Run the command.
6. Review the result.
7. Save or share the visual.
You can start with short content, such as:
- a meeting recap
- a product plan
- a lesson outline
- a research note
- a project update
📊 What you can make
Diagrams
Use diagrams to show steps, links, or flow. These work well for:
- process maps
- decision trees
- system overviews
- simple workflows
🖼️ Infographics
Use infographics when you want plain facts to feel easier to scan. These work well for:
- stats
- timelines
- comparisons
- key points from a report
Interactive explainers
Use interactive explainers for content that needs a guided view. These work well for:
- tutorials
- product walkthroughs
- training content
- topic breakdowns
📈 Shareable dashboards
Use dashboards for a high-level view of data or progress. These work well for:
- team status updates
- goals
- metrics
- weekly summaries
🛠️ Common ways to work with the app
Start with text
Paste your source content into viz-pack and let it turn the text into a visual format.
Use a short prompt
A short command is often enough. For example:
- make this into a diagram
- turn this into an infographic
- build an explainer for this topic
- show this as a dashboard
Edit and rerun
If the first result is close but not right, change the input and run it again.
Save the output
Keep the final visual in a folder you can find later. Use a clear name so you can open it fast.
🔧 Tips for better results
- Keep your source text clean
- Use short sentences
