A Claude Code plugin marketplace
with four plugins that stop convention drift: **go-conventions**, the house
canon for how Go code is written, tested, logged, linted, built, and
released, **github-conventions**, the canon for how a GitHub repository is
created, kept hygienic, and worked on through commits and pull requests,
**code-conventions**, the rules that hold whatever the language or host is —
code navigation, comments, bug reports, chat links to repositories, pull
or merge requests, and issues, and code citations in durable documents, and
**ceph-conventions**, the canon for contributing to ceph/ceph and
tracker.ceph.com — the upstream PR checklist, commit titles, DCO, Fixes,
and Assisted-by trailers, the config-diff and Jenkins checks,
stable-branch backports, Redmine filing, and embargoed security disclosure.
go-conventions and ceph-conventions each depend on github-conventions and
code-conventions; installing either installs all three.
Install
Inside Claude Code:
or from a shell:
A repository with no Go in it installs github-conventions@conventions-claude
or code-conventions@conventions-claude on its own.
To pick up updates later:
or inside Claude Code:
After the shell form, run /reload-plugins in running sessions — a
restart also works. The marketplace step alone only refreshes the
index; it does not update the installed plugin.
What's inside
code-conventions
| Skill | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| code-conventions | The canon for any language. Loads when you navigate unfamiliar code — a definition, its callers, a type, a file's diagnostics — write, review, or delete a comment, write or edit a README or other doc, report a defect or a vulnerability upstream or assemble its disclosure package, name a repository, pull request, merge request, or issue in a chat reply, or cite code by file and line in a spec, plan, registry entry, review finding, or PR description. |
github-conventions
| Skill | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| github-conventions | The canon. Loads when you create a repository, edit a workflow or dependabot.yml, commit, rebase, open, update, or merge a pull request, watch CI, post a GitHub comment, file an issue, or put a disclosure into a gist. Owns the precedence ladder all four plugins share. |
| /github-conventions:github-converge | Audits an existing repository against the canon and applies the file half on a branch. |
| /github-conventions:github-new-repo | Creates a repository the house way: empty, ruleset-protected, populated by a draft pull request. |
go-conventions
| Skill | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| go-conventions | The canon. Loads when you write or refactor Go, edit go.mod, a lint config, a Makefile, a goreleaser config or a Go workflow, or choose a Go library. |
| /go-conventions:go-new-project | Scaffolds a new module: cobra and viper, log/slog, Ginkgo, the house lint tier, goreleaser (ko only when an image is wanted), then hands off to github-new-repo. |
| /go-conventions:go-converge | Audits an existing Go repository, applies the tooling half, and migrates one named area at a time. |
| /go-conventions:go-review | Reviews a working tree, a branch, or a pull request against the review canon. |
