**Your herdr agents, as a chat on your phone.**
Read, answer and steer your Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI,
Antigravity and OpenCode sessions in herdr from your phone.
**One command, one scan, about a minute.** Shahi's encrypted tunnel is ready to
use and free for everyone. No VPN, port forwarding or Shahi account required.

Your work stays where you started it
You start a task with a coding agent on your computer or server. Then you
step away. An agent needs permission, has a question, or finishes something you
want to review.
Open Shahi on your phone and pick up that same session. Read the conversation,
answer the question, send the next instruction, or open the terminal screen.
When you return to your computer, your replies and the agent’s work are already
there.
**Shahi connects you to the work that is already running.** There is no project
to upload or conversation to recreate. Your agents, files, and commands stay on
your machine, inside herdr.
Your computer or server must stay awake and connected. Closing Shahi on your
phone does not stop the agents running there.
Why not just a terminal app?
A terminal on a phone is a poor way to talk to an agent. SSH apps show output
wrapped for a wide screen, so you pinch, scroll sideways and hunt for Esc and
Tab. Shahi reads the agent's saved transcript so supported messages, tool calls
and diffs fit your screen. Supported permission prompts become buttons. The
terminal is still one tap away, on the Screen tab.
Shahi is built on herdr, a lightweight home for your agents
with spaces, panes and live status for each one. Shahi mirrors all of it, so you
can browse spaces and start new agents from your phone.
A herdr client made for your phone
Shahi brings your running agents into an interface designed for a small screen:
clear conversations, readable code, colored agent icons, and controls that are
easy to reach. Live updates keep you close to the work; returning to a conversation
keeps your reading position and unfinished reply.
Reader formats the content each supported agent records, with no per-tool layout
to configure. Coverage differs by provider; the table below lists the main
limits. Screen mode remains available for the terminal itself.
- **A free tunnel, ready to use.** Scan a pairing QR code to connect through
Shahi's built-in encrypted tunnel. It is free for everyone, with no Shahi
account, public server port, VPN installation or domain setup needed.
- **Read comfortably.** Written responses take priority. Routine tool calls and
thinking share one expandable Activity section per turn, while files, images,
questions and failed steps stay accessible. Screen mode shows the terminal.
- **Keep work moving.** Answer supported permission prompts inline, send a
follow-up, attach a file, or use terminal keys your phone keyboard lacks.
- **Find what needs you.** The Inbox in Agents gathers unanswered requests,
completed work, and agents whose status needs checking. Mark completed items
Reviewed for the current app session. Search by conversation name, agent, space or
folder to find earlier work quickly.
- **Know when the connection is interrupted.** Connection guidance distinguishes
reported network, relay, and computer-disconnection problems and offers a
retry while preserving the last loaded view.
- **Manage your workspaces.** Browse spaces, open existing agents, and start new
ones on the same machine. A new agent opens directly into its conversation.
- **Switch without losing your place.** Move between conversations or computers
and return to your unfinished message while Shahi stays open.
iPhone simulator captures, 26 September 2026. All conversations shown are synthetic examples.
Supported agents
Reader supports these five agents running inside herdr:
| Agent | Reader coverage |
| --- | --- |
| **Claude Code** | Messages, thinking, tools and results, supported questions and images. |
| **Codex** | Messages, reasoning, commands, edits, questions, MCP and web activity, and images. Audio attachments are indicated; playback is unavailable. |
| **Cursor CLI** | Messages, recorded tool calls, failure and cancellation notes, and attachment labels. Cursor's export omits tool results and attachment bytes. |
| **Antigravity** | Messages, thinking, tools, files and questions. Results are paired only for a recorded single call; images and results for multiple calls are unsupported. |
